I have worked with Med-Save Pharmacy since 2012. I love working as an independent pharmacist because we not only fill prescriptions but also we truly care about our patients and their well-being. Our patients know that we will always watch out for them and go the extra mile for their benefits. We make sure to tailor our services to suit our patients’ individualized needs. Our mission at Med-Save is to help our patients live a healthier lifestyle.

I am a 2004 UK COP grad and completed a Community Pharmacy Residency where I attained my Teaching and Learning Certification the following year.
I’ve worked as a pharmacist since 2004 and as the owner of Med-Save Pharmacy Wilmore since 2006. My top priority is taking care of people. No matter what problem a patient is having, we can help them work through it, and get past it. At Med-Save Pharmacy, we don’t work for a big company—we work for our patients. Creating a connection with every single one of our patients, and delivering the highest level of personalized care—that’s what being a pharmacist at an independent pharmacy is all about.

I am a 1999 grad of the UK College of Pharmacy. I started working for Med-Save in 2022 and I love the Nicholasville area and the people. It is such a different atmosphere working for an independent pharmacy versus a chain pharmacy and I love it! My co-workers have also made this a wonderful transition, as well.

"I have found love in meeting and helping people I have had the privilege to get to know (coworkers/customers). My passion comes from a humble place, for anyone to walk into this pharmacy with a unique and jovial experience that keeps them coming back or even a place they feel is a safe place to talk. One of my favorite experiences was helping a patient through a difficult time while they were searching for a medication that was on back order. After looking for it daily, I found a lower strength became available and immediately called the doctor's office and insurance to be able to fill her RX and got her taken care of in less than 24 hours."

I've been with Med-Save since 2018 starting at the Wilmore location. My passion for pharmacy stems from my own experiences with health issues. I was always nervous to take new prescriptions or worried about feeling even worse. It wasn't until I began working at Med-Save, that I learned so much about medications and ways to improve my overall health. I love being able to help our patients who may not know what a new drug they're doctor called in is and helping them navigate their overall health journey. Gaining that trust and making them feel safer is always our top priority and I think we really get to exercise that patient care as a local, independent pharmacy.
